Our Mission:
The Por La Gente Association of Racine is a non-profit organization which began in 1984. Por La Gente strives towards promoting athletics and recreation within the Latino community in the City of Racine. The Association currently manages the Por La Gente men and women’s softball teams as well as holds its annual basketball and softball tournaments, and its golf outing. In addition, Por La Gente awards two scholarships to area Latino high school students for college.

Por La Gente's annual Latino Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Friday, April 13th through Sunday, April 15th, games to be played at the Sports Plex, Sturtevant WI.

Por La Gente would like to welcome teams from Racine, Kenosha, Milwaukee and Chicago areas.
We invite all to come out and show support! Proceeds from our tournament benefit our annual scholarship program.
